1.Didn’t We? (Shut It Down) (6 1/2 minutes)
A pre-release version of a music video featuring Jim Page and Artis the
Spoonman with footage from the WTO protests in Seattle in 1999.
2. A battle for the
hearts & minds of North Americans will be fought on video 1 minute
ad from The Media Foundation
3.Crown of Hoots (12 1/2 minutes)
On January 20th George W Bush was given a crown of hoots for a corporate
king. This video puts you in the middle of the “Inaugural
Extravaganza” which occurred in Seattle
on that day.
4.“Turn OFF Your TV Week” (1 minute)
1 minute ad from The Media Foundation, which suggests, at least by
implication, that a life of activism is better than a life of watching
activism on TV. Of course, if you distribute video activist material,
you could, presumably, curse the tube and watch it too. This irony of
our lives suggests just how badly we need the activism.
5.Crashing the Party (84
minutes)
This video, produced by the LA Independent Media Center, focuses on the
political protests which occurred around the Democratic Party Convention
in 2000.
